Welcome graduate assistants, fellows, and trainees to the Office of Student Health Benefits at the University of Minnesota! Our office administers benefits and enrollment for the University’s Graduate Assistant Health Plan (GAHP). Open enrollment begins in January and ends on February 5, 2026.
Coverage Dates
The 2025-2026 plan year goes from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.
- Fall semester coverage begins September 1, 2025
- Spring semester coverage begins February 1, 2026
