| New graduate assistants, fellows, and trainees | To receive Fall 2026 benefits, you must complete the enrollment process by September 24, 2026 or within 30 days of your appointment start date, whichever is later.

| Current GAHP members (with no enrolled dependents) | You do not need to re-enroll. Your enrollment will automatically continue next term, as long as you remain an eligible graduate assistant, fellow, or trainee.

| Current GAHP members (with enrolled dependents) | Dependents will be automatically re-enrolled. If you want to cancel dependent coverage, you must submit the cancellation form by September 24, 20256 for Fall 2026.
|
| GAHP members enrolled in the Continuation of Coverage option (with or without dependents) | You must re-enroll during open enrollment to remain on the Continuation of Coverage option. |
Enrollment Dates
The first 31 days of every fall semester or within 30 days of your appointment start date.
If you miss the enrollment deadline, the primary member’s coverage will begin on the date the Office of Student Health Benefits receives your completed enrollment request forms.
If you missed open enrollment for Spring 2026 and want to add dependents, you may submit an enrollment form to add dependents for Fall 2026 by the September 24, 2026 deadline for coverage effective September 1, 2026.

Submit your completed enrollment forms to the Office of Student Health Benefits beginning August 1:
