Wellbeing Resources: Student Health Benefit Plan

Wellbeing

Wellbeing is the combination of many aspects, including your physical, emotional, financial, and social health. As a University-sponsored Health Plan member, you have access to various resources to support your overall health and wellbeing.

As a member of the Student Health Benefit plan, you have access to a variety of wellbeing resources created for University of Minnesota students.

  • Learn to Live: Get help with stress, depression, social anxiety, substance use, and insomnia. Online programs are available to students who pay the Students Services Fee (SSF) through Learn to Live. The programs are confidential, available at no cost, and completed at your own pace. Students who pay the SSF can visit the Learn to Live website and enter code “UMN” for access.
  • Doctor on Demand: See a doctor right on your smartphone, tablet or computer with the Doctor On Demand® app. Board-certified doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists are available to diagnose and treat many common conditions. This app allows you to see a provider after hours or when you're unable to visit your student clinic (Boynton Health). Visit the Doctor on Demand website to get started.
  • Sharecare online health and wellbeing platform: Provides tools, insights and information on how to improve your health and wellbeing. Login or register and click on “Sharecare” to get started.
  • Maternity Management: Gives members in-depth education tools and provides answers for any maternity questions along the way.
  • Tobacco Support Program: Helps you take the first step to becoming nicotine-free.
