Medical Plan Highlights
The University of Minnesota’s Graduate Assistant Health Plan (GAHP) is a cost-effective, comprehensive health plan designed to meet the unique needs of UMN students.
Key features of the plan include:
- No in-network deductible
- 100% coverage of eligible expenses after a $10 office visit co-pay
- $2,500 annual out-of-pocket maximum for covered services
- Pharmacy benefits in the Blue Cross network with a $300 out-of-pocket maximum
Network and claims administration services for the Student Dental Plans are provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.
Enrollment
During open enrollment, submit your enrollment form to the Office of Student Health Benefits by September 24, 2026.
